Extreemly friendly and helpful staff particularly the sales manager Ms Canan Oztyrk, the hotel is new and spotles clean, rooms have sound proof windows which stops the outside noise completely, comfortable and very clost to Aksray tram and 500 meters to Aksray Metro station. Internet reception was good. Close to several shops and resturants. Good breakfast and Spa facilities. Good for both tourist and business travellers, I strongly recommend this hotel for families, I was very pleased with this hotel and will definitly come back.
They should give more care to the steam room at the Spa, humidity smell was present, needs detergent and special oder fighting agent to overcome this problem. I would expect a complementry bottle of water to accompany the complementry tea and coffee already offered with electrical kettle in the room. In general the hotel is good and not much to criticis.

Good location 300 meters from Aksarai tram station, that can bring you fast to Beyazit station (2 stops) where Grand Bazar is situated and to Sultanhmet square (3 stops) where Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque are. Great thing is that the hotel is brand new, so everything is new. I also liked the design, it is made with a great taste. European style with some small details of local style. Rooms are quite small but I was lucky to get a bigger one than my friends did. So I suppose it's a matter of luck ;) tv, air-conditioning ok. Maybe some more english-speaking channels, italian, french? Facilities for preparing tea and coffie in the room - I love that! Breakfasts were nice, not too much to chose from, but in general for those who likes traditional breakfast (eggs, bread and butter, cheese, sausage, vegetables, cereals) it's fine. Fresh strawberries were most appreciated, quite nice desserts. Not sure about that mayonaise stuff (salads?) Ni-ce friendly personnel. WIFI unlimited everywhere - which was really a bliss to me. Swimming pool is quite small but you can't expect bigger from a 33-rooms hotels. Saunas, hamam look okay, but i didn't have chance to go to.
I would recommend to add garbage cans in the rioom (the one in the bathroom is not sufficient). Plus I would recommend to move the safety box which is located in the cupboard to the floor of the cupboard, because due to it's measurements it uses the whole shelf. I would have prefered to put my clothing on that shelf. Good luck, Meretto! I might come again some day P.S. HEEEEY, you offers free taxi to and from the airport here on Booked.net. But as i missed that info on Booked.net, the staff charged me for the taxi. That's BUSINESS, okay okay, problem yok. But I am so pissed off.

Recommend it for families
He even took the time to prepare my son's milk every morning. I enjoyed the warm soup they served at breakfast, it set me up for the day perfectly.
It wasn't exactly inexpensive, but I felt it was fair for the experience.

New small hotel (3 months old), clean, nice furniture and bed, good noise proof windows, walking distance to main attractions, situated on a fairly quiet street, easy to reach. 100M distance to t1 tram station which is very helpful (goes through Old City to Taksim Square and back with stops to main attractions). Good dry and steam sauna. They have also a small "hamam" but we didn't used. Good wireless internet in the room. Hotel doesn't have own parking but they guided us to a free parking spot on the street behind the hotel. Ok for people which use the room only @ night, to sleep after a busy day in Istanbul.
Low quality and no variety breakfast, double room very small (15 sqm including bathroom). We asked for a bigger room and they show us a bit bigger room but with twin beds. We decided to keep the small room but with "king size" bed (200cm/140cm?!?!). Tinny swimming pool (I would call it "small pot"). We chose this hotel mainly for "spa facilities" and the distance to main attractions in Istanbul but considered that we paid too much as we could get better rates in hotels without inside swimming pool. No water for few hours one morning. Bit expensive for what you really get.

We enjoyed the Turkish bath, sauna and the little swimming pool of the hotel. It is situated in the Old City which is good for visiting all museums and sites. Tram is down the road from the hotel and very practical. We never used taxis as there are so many traffic jams. We came by metro from the airport and walked to the hotel. Big choices for breakfast. The rooms have double glazing windows and air conditioned. We were able to leave our luggage on the last day and were able to collect them on time as someone is at reception all the time. We would recommend the Meretto Hotel as it is new and clean and we hope next time we go there, the terrasse on the roof will be finished.
We did not find the fitness room. Being in the Old City it is very busy all the time. People talked loud in the street during the night so you better keep your windows closed and you can hear the prayers call early in the morning. My daughter was frustrated as the dispenser for the chocolate cereals did not work properly, a normal jar will do a better job ! Also we could not locate the hotel on Google map so to find it with walked a long way after asking different people who don't always know the hotel. But we made it.

Quick review for busy people
Spacious room for three adults, with a big shower and fresh breakfast every day. The staff was friendly, especially Orhan, who even arranged our airport transfers. Proximity to the tram stop made exploring easy, despite a slight uphill walk.

The staff is friendly and helpfully, they offer free transportation to the airport.
Room had instead promised 30 m approximately 15 m, bathrobes do not have jet. You only get coffee and tea on the first day in the room., the minibar is full but you don’t get any glass in room for drinks, either in bathroom for toothbrushes. Breakfast is not in level at four star hotel.

Well priced hotel, clean, particularly helpful staff, location right across from the main tram station was nice. Location: the property was short walk to transport links, metro, shops and markets, and subway, trams and buses that are going to most of the Istanbul. Ate at Mola Burger, it's around 10-15 minutes walk from the venue.
